So, I did finally manage to make something for a GMTK. 

As you can probably tell, it was done in a hurry and not much time was spent on it, but I did make it.

The slime should be mostly deterministic, it's just the knockback that desyncs stuff. I could've probably made it ignore the knockback, but it wouldn't feel that good imo.

I wonder how the game will run on low-end stuff. The recording and playback is reasonably optimized, so good luck getting the game to use an extra 100+mb of RAM before killing the slime (still counts as a memory leak hehe... just a reasonably well managed one). But the rendering and collisions will definitely struggle.

Shoutouts to Heartbeast for their awesome Godot action RPG series (the knight is basically the same character controller, just not as polished) and to everyone that makes free game assets.
